How do I choose the perfect size beanie?

WARNING! It is important to consult the size chart carefully before placing an order.

To find the beanie size that's right for you, refer to our new and simplified sizing chart! Our sizes haven’t changed, but we will instruct you based on whether the beanie will be worn by an adult or a child.

  1. * Measure the circumference of your head just above the ears and across the forehead (the largest part of the head).

 

  1. Refer to the tables above to choose the size that matches your measurement.

Attention! Our beanies are super stretchy, so if you like a fitted hat, choose one size smaller.

 

Sizes for toddlers and children (XXS to Medium)

For children, we suggest choosing a size that will fit loosely at first, this way your child will grow into it (and we want our beanies to be worn for several seasons!).

Refer to the chart by age group. For example, if your child is 4 years old and has a small head circumference, opt for an XS. If your child is 7 years old and has a larger head,opt for the medium.

Adult sizes (XS to XL)

Our STANDARD size for women is "small" and for men we suggest, "medium.”

We suggest that if the beanie is too big when you try it on in stores, choose a smaller size; XS for women or small for men.

If the beanie fit is too small, choose a size larger, either medium for women or large for men.

Large and XL sizes are PLUS sizes

How do I care for my beanie and tube?

All Lalita's Art Shop products are easy to maintain!

We recommend washing the beanies and tubes (neck warmers) in the gentle cycle of your washing machine or handwash in cold water. Do not put either in the dryer (risk of shrinkage), and allow to air dry. Do not use bleach, fabric softener or an iron.

 

Do you offer beanies in plus sizes?

YES! Our Large and XL beanies are PLUS sizes!

 

Do you offer the option of a ponytail hat?

After testing our beanies with runners, we created a deeper fit and the fabrics used for our beanies are super stretchy, so there is enough room to slip your pony tail in and be super comfortable.

We are working on a prototype to offer you a model with a ponytail opening that will allow you to wear your beanie with your ponytail out or with your hair loose without the hole showing. We will keep you informed of developments!

 

I bought a beanie and a multifunctional tube from the same collection and the color is not EXACTLY the same, is this normal?

Some colors may appear a little different across the different products due to the different fabrics. Our beanies and our multifunctional tubes are made of 2 different fabrics, the colors will be extremely close, but might not be a perfect match.

Since the images used in the creation of our products come from works of art, there are times when color gradients are present or the textures are different in certain places.

A member of our team will get back to you in less than 24 hours (you'll see, we're very fast!). Messages sent on Saturday, Sunday or on a public holiday may be answered in the next working day. Sometimes we like to have a little time off. ;)

 

It is possible that during busier periods, the response time is longer. We're doing our best, we promise you!

What are the accepted payment methods?

We accept most major credit cards and PayPal

 

In what currency are the prices displayed?

Prices are displayed in CAD.

 

Delivery

What are the delivery times ?

Orders are processed in 1 to 3 business days, and delivery time from Purolator is typically 24 to 48 hours.

 

In remote regions of Quebec and outside the province, the expedited parcel delivery time is 3 to 7 working days.

 

For delivery to the United States, the lead time is approximately 4-7 business days.


PLEASE NOTE: The shipping service or Canada Post may not respect the delivery times mentioned above, especially during periods of high traffic. Unfortunately, once your order has left our office, we have no control over the deadlines and cannot be held responsible for any delays.

 

 

Is it possible to pick up an order at Lalita's Art Shop offices?

With pleasure! Please communicate with us BEFORE placing your order, either by email at mailto:info@lalitasartshop.com, via the Live Chat on our online store or by Messenger, to let us know that you would like to come and collect your order at our offices. We will arrange an appointment to pick up your order, give you the address of our office and give you a promo code to waive the delivery charges.

Appointments will be made from Monday to Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to pick up an order placed online (except on public holidays). The lead times are between 24 to 48 business hours for pick up orders. Unfortunately, it is not possible to shop on site.

Our offices are located in Mirabel (Saint-Janvier area).

 

Can I order a product and have it delivered to one of your points of sale?

Oops! I made a mistake in my address and my order is in progress, what should I do?

Do not panic ! We can still correct everything, but we must act quickly! Send us an email at info@lalitasartshop.com with the correct full address and we will make the correction. A member of the team will confirm that the change has been made.

 

I just received confirmation that my order is on its way and I realize that I made a mistake on my address, what should I do?

We may still be able to help! Write or phone us at 514-219-9432 as soon as possible, because if the order has shipped with Purolator, we may be able to make an address correction before the order is delivered!

In the case that it’s too late to make the change, you’ll be responsible for covering the cost of any additional charges as well as the 2nd delivery costs, whether for regular or accelerated delivery. A member of our team will send you an email so that you can proceed with the payment of the fees.

Please note that if the order is lost, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund.

 

How can I follow up on my order?

Easy! To track an order delivered by express package, simply click on the order tracking link received by email. If you haven’t received a link, write to us at info@lalitasartshop.com and we will send it to you.

Orders sent with regular mail via Canada Post cannot be tracked. You will receive it within 3 to 15 business days.

 

I received confirmation that my order has been delivered, but I haven't received anything, what should I do?

  1. Validate with the people who live with you if one of them has not collected the package.
  2. Check that the address you entered when ordering is correct, as typing errors may occur. ;)
  3. If there is a community mailbox in your building, check if your package has been delivered there.
  4. Check with your neighbours.

What are the shipping costs?

Local delivery

For delivery within Quebec and eastern Ontario, the delivery cost options are as follows:

- Orders under $ 65: $ 9.95 using Express delivery with tracking 

- Orders over $ 65: FREE express delivery for Quebec and eastern Ontario

- Tattoo orders only: FREE by regular mail without tracking

 

For the rest of Canada, the delivery cost options are as follows:

- Orders under $ 75: $ 15.00 using Express delivery with tracking

- Orders over $ 75: FREE express delivery

- Tattoo orders only: FREE by regular mail without tracking

 

 

Delivery to the United States or international delivery

 

For delivery to the United States or Europe, charges will be calculated at the time of ordering.

Please note that it is possible that taxes or customs duties apply and these are not included in your order.

The payment of these taxes and customs duties is made at the time of delivery of the package and are at the customer's expense.

Can I modify my order?

With pleasure! We need to hurry before your order ships!

If it has not yet shipped, write to us quickly at mailto:info@lalitasartshop.comor via Live Chat at the bottom of your screen to add, remove or change the size of an item in your order. A member of our wonderful team will walk you through the process.

If the order has already been shipped, it will unfortunately be too late to make any changes.

 

 

I made a mistake in my address, can I change it?

If my order has already been shipped, can I correct the error in my address?

This is only possible if your order has not yet shipped. We will cancel and refund you immediately. Write to us via Live Chat at the bottom of your screen or at info@lalitasartshop.com.

 

If it is already on its way, unfortunately you will have to return the goods and pay the shipping costs. We will proceed with the refund when we have received the merchandise. Write to us for the procedure to follow.

 

 

Can I get a price adjustment following a promotion in the online store?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to obtain a price adjustment if you placed an order before the start of a promotion in the online store. Prices are subject to change without notice.

 

I forgot to enter my promo code in the shopping cart, what should I do?

You forgot to enter your promo code in your shopping cart, no problem it happens to me too! Write to us in the next 24 hours following your order at info@lalitasartshop.com specifying your order number and we can correct the situation. ;)

How do I return or exchange a product?

We can do it! However, you must respect the following conditions:

- The beanie or the multifunctional tube must be unworn, not altered, not damaged, not washed, be in its original packaging and have its original labels.

- the puzzle, game or tattoo packaging is unopened, therefore still sealed in its original packaging;

- that you have received your order for less than 15 days.

- Your order number

- The reason for the return

- Your daytime phone number

- Indicate whether a refund or exchange (if available) is desired

- If the exchange is possible, what you would like to receive in exchange.

 

 

In order to facilitate the return of an item, it must:

 

- Be accompanied by the invoice

- Be unworn, unaltered, undamaged or unwashed

- Be in its original packaging and have its original labels (if it is not defective)

- Have a note explaining the reason for the return

- Be shipped by a courier service that offers a tracking number and signature on delivery

- Have the return authorization number clearly indicated on the return package.

What is the procedure for getting a refund for a Lalita's Art Shop product that I am not satisfied with?

The following conditions must be met.

- The beanie or the tube must be unworn, not altered, not damaged, not washed, be in its original packaging and have its original labels.

- the puzzle, game or tattoo packaging is unopened, therefore still sealed in its original packaging;

- the order must have been received within the last 15 days.

 

Write to us at info@lalitasartshop.com with:

 

- Your order number

- The reason for the return

- Your daytime phone number.

 

In order to facilitate the return of an item, it must:

- Be accompanied by the invoice

- Be unworn, unaltered, undamaged or unwashed

- Be in its original packaging and have its original labels (if it is not defective)

- Have a note explaining the reason for the return

- Choose a courier service that offers a tracking number and signature on delivery

- The return authorization number must be clearly indicated on the return package.

 

The initial delivery charges will not be refunded. All item refunds are made to the payment method that made the initial transaction.

 

All exchanges or refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receipt of the product.

 

It can take 5 to 10 business days for the refund to show up on your bank statement following the refund confirmation email.

All returns will be at the expense of the customer except for defective items.

Shipping and transportation costs of a return due to a defect will be refunded only after we receive it and confirm that the product in question is indeed defective.

 

All exchanges or refunds must be approved by Lalita’s Art Shop.

It is important to note that Lalita’s Art Shop cannot be held responsible for loss of packages or delays in returning merchandise. For all international orders, refunds are not possible unless the product is defective or in the case of an error caused by us.

What if I received a defective product?

Quality, both for our products and for our customer service, is the number 1 priority at Lalita's Art Shop! We take great care to inspect all of our products before shipping them to you. We do our best to catch any defects before they are shipped to you. However, if you believe you have received a defective product, we will be happy to replace it for you!

Make sure to contact us quickly! It is important to always inspect your order as soon as you receive it in order to meet the 30-day deadline.

 

Write to us by email at info@lalitasartshop.com mentioning the following information:

  • Your order number
  • The reason for the return
  • The defective product (s), specifying the model
  • Your daytime phone number
  • One or more photos of the defect

Once we see validate the defect, will be happy to replace the item free of charge and as soon as possible.

How do I reset my password?

If you have lost your password or would like to change it, go to the home page and click on the person icon (the first one on the left of the magnifying glass). In the "Connection" box, click on "Forgot your password?" and enter your email on the next page. You will receive the instructions on how to reset your password by email.

 

I have changed my address, how can I change it in my account?

Log into your account and click on "View Addresses.” Once on the Addresses page, you can edit, delete or add a new one. Click on the box of the action of your choice. On the left, there is the address (es) already registered in your account, you can click on Modify or Delete the existing addresses in your account.

On the right, you can click on the Add a new address tab to add a new one.

It is very important for us to offer our products in a store near you! Lalita's Art Shop is pleased to offer its products in over 200 stores across Canada!

Can I find out which products are available in a particular store? 

Go to our webpage to locate the stores that sell Lalita’s Art Shop products. Click on one of the filters ( Beanies, Games, etc.) and the stores that have stock in the product you are looking for will be displayed.

This search will not, however, let you know which products, models or sizes are left in stock. Please contact the store directly to confirm what they have left in the store.

 

Can I order a product and have it delivered to one of your points of sale?

Unfortunately, no. The shops that sell our products are independent and are not branches of Lalita's Art Shop.
